This is the Center for the Handheld Web (CHW), and is housed in the [3] Information Technology Department of the College of Computing and Information Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology.
The CHW is aimed at helping Web content creators and Webmasters to extend the reach of their sites onto handheld devices. Please read more [4] About the Center faculty and students who are working to define and create the code & standards to support the cutting edge of emerging Mobile Web technologies.
The Dev section of this site can be used by webmasters & webpage coders as a place to find references for everyday work. It includes Docs, Tests, & Talks sub-sections providing information about XHTML-MobileProfile, JavaScript and CSS capabilities of various target devices and presentation/background materials for managers, planners & designers, and coders.
The Comm section will be aimed at providing social networking facilities to allow site members to communicate and share ideas.
